This can be booked as a stand alone tour or combined with the Tour of the Falls. The African Craft village in Zimbabwe provides a fascinating insight into the village way of life where typical traditional houses represent the different tribes and shops sell traditional craft. Guided tour of the Falls

Both Zimbabwe's and Zambia's view of the Falls is magnificent and awe inspiring. Guests can decide which side they would like to vie the Falls and guided tours are offered on both. The viewing walk is longer on the Zimbabwean side and from January to June, the Zambian side benefits from the increased water flow over the Falls, making it a spectacular viewing point. .Victoria Falls is classified as one of the seven wonders of the world.

Victoria Falls Steam Safari Train

This beautifully restored train has a 1922 class 12 steam locomotive, dining cars and first class coaches. The train can
carry between 20 - 200 passengers, who are attended to by professional staff. The cuisine is a superb and this experience appeals to those who wish to see this part of the world from the viewpoint of a bygone era. A variety of options are available.

Scenic flights

These flights provide an unrivalled bird's eye view of the majestic Falls, the gorges below the falls, the mighty Zambezi river and the surrounding areas. Flights are operated in either helicopter, fixed wing aircraft or microlights.

White Water Rafting

Options include rafting in an 'oar' boat where the guide does all the work or 'paddle boat' where clients are actively involved in the rafting experience. A popular option is to opt for the helicopter airlift out of the gorge. Day trips are available year round subject to water levels. All guides are highly experienced - safety kayakers are provided for each trip as well as high quality equipment, which upgraded on a regular basis. A day spend on this 23 kilometre stretch of river is guaranteed to be one of the most exciting in your life.

Elephant Back Safaris

This awesome opportunity to interact with these magnificent animals and to understand their intelligence and willingness to
act under instruction. Most rides are approximately one hour and the full interaction time spent with the animals is three hours.

High Wire Activities

Abseiling, Gorge Swing, Flying Fox and Foofie Slide:- this collection of five mind-blowing extreme activities are set on the edge of the Batoka Gorge, 300m from the Victoria Falls. There is something for every age, level of 'madness' and courage. The Gorge Swing is a total sensory overload with a 70m freefall into a 95m long swing over the swirling river 120m below. The Foofie Slide hurtles 425m across the Gorge at a speed of 106km/h on a static cable. The Flying Fox, leap into thin air and fly horizontally for 200m whilst suspended 120m high on a static cable. Abseil or rap Jump 120m down a sheer rock face over the Zambezi. The Lookout, a thatched wooden structure provides a spectacular and breathtaking viewing platform for spectators and group lunches.

Bungee Jumping

Victoria Falls offers incredible bungee jumping off the Vic Falls Bridge, which spans the Zambezi river between Zimbabwe and Zambia. Jumpers leap into space to enjoy of the world's most spectacular jumps. 111 metres of pure adrenalin rush and breathtaking views - definitely not for the fainthearted!. tandem jumps are also possible.

Bloukranz Bridge is in the Guinness Book of Records as the highest bungee jump in the world at 216 meters. Even if it is not for you, it is well worth holding your breath and watching others. On your adrenalin holiday of South Africa you can stop off for as long as you want and watch these adrenalin seeking daredevils.

Some stats - the free fall takes 5 seconds, the stretching of the Bungy rope takes another 2 seconds. The first rebound is higher than the Victoria Falls Bridge jump and the second rebound is higher then the Gouritz Bridge, which is 65 meters. Your body accelerates to around 120mph before decelerating - Awesome stuff!!



Fly Fishing and Angling

The Tiger fish, rated by many anglers as the finest sporting and flight fish in the world, is found in the waters of the upper Zambezi above the Falls. The best time for Tiger is August - March. The river has 75 different species of fish including 15 different species of bream. Angling consists of fly-fishing, spinning and bait-fishing. These excursions are led by experienced fishing guides with excellent knowledge of wildlife in general. The boats with a 50hp outboard motor, can navigate the gentle rapids and very shallow water.
